  • The abstract should be typed in block format, consist of one paragraph only with no indentations. It should be double spaced. Keywords may be required.
  • The third page is the beginning of the body of your paper. It has some of the same elements: running head, page number, and 1 inch margins on all sides.
  • Quotations fewer than 40 words should be incorporated into the text of the paper using quotation marks. The citation comes immediately after. For quotations longer than 40 words, use a block quotation, indented as a new paragraph would be. It doesn’t need quotation marks.
  • References to personal communications such as interviews, emails, letters and telephone conversations shouldn’t be referenced because they are not recoverable by other persons. You can still cite them in the text.
  • For the reference list, arrange the sources in alphabetical order according to the author’s last name.
